Shedload terms of use
Last updated: 30 October 2026. Shedload is operated by Andre Emiliano ("we"). Contact: emilianoappdev@gmail.com.
These terms cover your use of the Shedload app. They sit alongside Apple's standard licence agreement for apps, which also applies. If the two disagree, Apple's agreement wins on anything to do with the App Store. By using Shedload you agree to both.
What Shedload does
Shedload identifies things in your photos, estimates what they might sell for second-hand in the UK, suggests where to sell them and writes draft listings. It helps you sell your own things. It isn't a marketplace: we don't buy, sell or hold anything, and we aren't part of any sale you make.
Prices are estimates
- Every price in Shedload is an estimate based on AI and past UK sale prices. It isn't an offer, a guarantee or a professional valuation, and it isn't suitable for insurance, probate or tax purposes.
- The AI can misidentify things, for example the wrong model or generation. Check the details before you list something, especially anything valuable.
- What you actually get depends on the buyer, the site, the item's condition and timing. We aren't responsible if something sells for less than our estimate, or doesn't sell.
Your listings and sales
- Draft titles and descriptions are a starting point. You're responsible for what you list: check it's accurate, describe the real condition and any faults, and follow the rules of the site you sell on.
- Only sell things you own and are allowed to sell. Some things, such as knives, medicines, alcohol and vapes, are banned or restricted on Vinted, eBay and other sites, and by law. Shedload flags some of these, but it won't catch everything.
- Your sales are between you and your buyer, under the site's own terms. Links to Vinted, eBay, CeX and other sites open those sites, which we don't control.
- Selling your own used things generally isn't taxed, but if you sell regularly or for profit, it's up to you to check your tax position. See GOV.UK.
Plans and payments
- You get 2 free scans. After that, scanning needs the Clear-out Pass or the Annual plan. Prices are shown in the app before you pay.
- The Clear-out Pass gives unlimited scans for 30 days from purchase. It doesn't renew.
- The Annual plan renews automatically each year at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your Apple account settings.
- Apple takes all payments. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's rules.
- "Unlimited" is subject to fair use of up to 100 scans per day, and to limits that stop automated or abusive use.
Using Shedload fairly
Don't use Shedload to break the law, to scan photos you don't have the right to use, to get around our free-scan limits or rate limits, or to copy, scrape or resell what the app produces at scale. If you do, we may stop your access.
Your photos and data
You keep all rights in your photos. You let us send them to our AI provider to value them, as described in our privacy policy, which explains what we collect and how long we keep it.
Changes and availability
We may change or stop features, or update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app and update the date at the top. We try to keep Shedload running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example if our AI provider is down.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Apart from that, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
